The U13 Spirit Girls' had their first match away to Oxford Cricket Club. It was brilliant that the girls managed to get some match experience. Although Oxford had a more experienced team and we didn't get the win, the Didcot Spirit girls did a fantastic job against their opposition and showed great teamwork and determination. A special shout out to our U11 girls who played up to ensure that the game could happen. Also a big thank you to Satish for managing the team on the day. Well done to all who played, we are super proud of you.

Hello all,

We have our first game...hooray. Although we are low on numbers still, Oxford CC have said that we can borrow a couple of girls for some fielders. We just want to get a game on, and for you to play cricket.

This game is for a 20 over hardball match. So please can you bring your hardball kit. If anyone still does not have a complete kit, please let me know so that we can loan you some. Suncream, hat and plenty of drinks will be essential!
Please can you wear dark leggings/trousers and a Didcot top if you have one, otherwise a dark coloured t-shirt.

This is an AWAY match with a meet time of 5:30pm (start 6pm), please ensure that it is possible to get there for then. The address is:
