Volunteering Opportunities at Didcot CC

As we gear up for another successful cricket season at Didcot CC, we are seeking volunteers to help with running the club. In recent years, we have built the foundations for significant growth for cricket in Didcot and hope to see this flourish in 2024 and beyond.

Last year saw the first season for our female section – Didcot Spirit – and 2024 will see us enter 5 mixed senior teams into the Cherwell League, 2 T20 teams in the Wednesday Downs League, and numerous cup competitions across mixed Senior and Spirit. This is more cricket than any other club in Oxfordshire! On top of this, our Junior section has more members than ever and with the appointment of our new Director of Cricket – Hansie Olivier – will be the best place in Southern Oxfordshire for Junior Cricket.

However, to achieve our aspirations, the club desperately needs more volunteers. The committee are seeking to expand the number of volunteer roles to reduce the burden on any single individual. If you would like to help make our club the success we know it can be, whatever your skill or time commitment, even if you’re not sure how you can help, we would love to hear from you.
